CAADV was founded in 2005 and launched to bring together a number of employers to exchange information, collaborate on projects and use their influence to instigate change and address the issues of domestic violence and its impact in the workplace.
Based in America, CAEPV has been operating since 1995 and provides CAADV and sister organisations in Europe, Canada, and Australia with mentorship on best practice initiatives and strategies to address domestic violence in the work place.
In 2010 CAADV became a registered charity in England and Wales with a constituted board of trustees and an executive director.
