CAADV was delighted to participate in the CEO Roundtable Breakfast hosted by Baroness Scotland, Lord Green, Lord Davies, and Lord Hastings. The event was held at the House of Lords and was attended by leaders from the private and public sectors. We held this Roundtable to discuss the the human and economic costs of domestic violence to business and ways we can work in partnership to take action.
At this unique event key business leaders discussed how domestic violence affects business and the practical steps we can all take together to ensure workplace safety, retain talenented staff, improve absense and engagement and most of all address the health and wellbeing of our employees.
The Roundtable heard from vibrant speakers who helped us think about what we can be doing together to address impact of domestic abuse and violence in the workplace
KPMG’s Powerful in Pink Afternoon Tea.

As one of the founding organisations, KPMG hosted an event to celebrate powerful and influential women in business and to learn how they have survived and prospered in the male dominated world of the senior executive.
There was a panel discussion led by Loose Women’s Andrea McLean. Other panel members included female CEOs from leading FTSE companies, the Rt Hon. The Baroness Scotland of Asthal QC (Shadow Attorney General), Pauline Clare (the first female Chief Constable), Margaret Mountford (BBC’s The Apprentice), and KPMG partners. The panel members discussed pre-submitted questions, and interacted with the audience.
CAADV's patron, the Rt Hon. The Baroness Scotland of Asthal QC gave an inspiraing speach on the impact of domestic violence in the workplace and the role that business leaders have in tackling the issue.
CAADV Awareness Event.

On 30th November, the Attorney General, Baroness Patricia Scotland QC and Comic Relief hosted a reception at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to raise awareness of the Corporate Alliance with UK employers.
Representatives from employeers large and small attended and heard a number of perspectives on the issues of Domestic Violence as a workplace issue from some inspiring guest speakers. (Click on the images below to see more from the event)
