Marieanne is a Partner within KPMG’s Financial Management Advisory team specialising in the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function, leading on Shared Services, finance IT strategy, outsourcing advisory and finance transformation.
Marieanne spent ten years within industry, where she held several senior roles including Shared Services Director and IT Director, a key part of these roles was the establishment, transition and daily running of Shared Services for Finance and IT, along with the management of outsourced contracts for IT services. Key to her role was the merger of new acquisitions into the group and the roll out of SAP across Europe.
Marieanne has extensive advisory experience gained over the past six years, key projects include:
- Designing the systems and processes of the largest public sector Shared Service Centre in the UK
- Establishing Shared Services for Accounts Payable using leading edge technology for Airbus, Solectron, Unilever, Huntsman and Shell
- Redesigning the Shared Service Centre of a large oil company to reduce headcount by over 20%
- The establishment of managed outsourced transaction services for an outsource provider
- The transformation, carve out and stabilisation of the finance function of a Kazakh based oil company
- The recovery of finance following an unsuccessful Oracle implementation, within the outsourced finance function of a UK public sector organisation ( £3bn)
- Reporting review of large regulated Telco, to reduce costs and improve information
- Debt risk analysis and performance of large utility supplier to reduce business risk
- Feasibility, design and implementation of many organisations Shared Service Centres
- The design for finance of a Ukranian conglomerate group of companies in preparation for IPO
- The transformation of the finance function for a large UAE development corporation.
