Lorna Gavin – Wragge & Co
Lorna Gavin is head of corporate responsibility at Wragge & Co, a law firm with approximately 1,000 people in its UK offices in London and Birmingham. Lorna has been with the firm for 19 years, the first 14 of which were as a solicitor - from training with the firm through to being a partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions. Since 2006, she has been responsible for the firm's community investment programme, environmental agenda as well as working with the firm's HR team in relation to diversity and wellbeing.
As part of her work leading the firm's community investment programme, Lorna works closely with Roshni and Birmingham and Solihull Women's Aid - two organizations providing support to victims of domestic violence.
Lorna chair's the firm's Diversity Forum. She has also chaired a working group on disability in the firm, which has led to a number of recommendations being implemented, including the introduction of Disability Champions to provide confidential one-to-one support for employees with disabilities. She has recently overseen the establishment of a network for the firm's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

Lorna is a director of the Corporate Responsibility Group, an ambassador for the Corporate Alliance Against Domestic Violence and is a contributor to the Heart of the City programme which involves her mentoring and providing advice to companies embarking on their own corporate responsibility programmes.
