



Denise Puckett – Association of Chief Police Officers
For the past year Denise Puckett has been undertaking the role of the Chief Staff Officer for Chief Constable Carmel Napier, Gwent Police who has the ACPO lead for Domestic Abuse, Honour Based Violence and stalking and harassment. With 16 years experience as a senior Modernisation Manager in the NHS, and the previous five years as Head of Equality and Human Right for the Health and Social Services Directorate General, Welsh Government.
Denise worked across the Public and Private sector in Wales raising awareness of domestic abuse, dispelling myths, and supporting employers to understand the business case for domestic abuse workplace policies. Her work on domestic abuse was recognised last year by Wales' highest accolade, by being presented a First Ministers award in recognising achievement for services to Wales in respect of domestic abuse.
What ACPO and Denise do as Ambassador for CAADV:
In working in partnership with CAADV, ACPO seeks to strengthen awareness of domestic abuse in the workplace, to further develop a holistic approach to ensuring victims of domestic abuse are safe and free from risk of threat and harm.
