

Why should employers take action
With 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men affected by domestic violence during their adult lives, every work place up and down the country is touched by this issue. Employers have grown to care about it because domestic violence costs UK businesses in excess of £1.9 billion each year – think of staff absences from survivors being ill, injured or struggling; think about lost productivity. Employers also have a responsibility to support and protect their employees.

How will your joining help
The Corporate Alliance Against Domestic Violence continues to build a resource of research, policy/implementation and expertise tailored specifically to business. Membership is open to any company of any size headquartered in the UK and is valid for 1 year. The membership is based upon your type of organisation and number of employees.
